Adult Dog Essentials

Adult dogs usually know something about the world in general but they might not know enough about our specific part of the world. I’m here to help you slow down and team up with your dog.

Whether you’re integrating a new dog into your family or smoothing out a few misunderstandings with a dog who’s been with you for a while, I craft training plans that can be folded into your current schedule as much as possible.

These packages are for families working on basic manners training and setting up your home and schedule so that human and canine family members are succeeding. If your dog has any reactivity, aggressive behaviors, or fear-based behaviors please check out the Baffling Behaviors offerings.

Every training session includes a follow up email with support materials. I am available for email questions between sessions and am usually able to respond within 24 hours.

HOW IT WORKS

Initial sessions are virtual so I can learn more about your dog and develop a training plan. After that we'll work together to decide what combination of virtual and in person sessions will be right for your training goals.

On Sundays, Mondays, and Thursdays in-person sessions happen near my home in Clinton Hill Brooklyn. On Tuesdays I have a limited number of session times available to travel to client neighborhoods. Please see here for the neighborhoods I serve.

I signed up for live online coaching. Now what?

Once we have a session confirmed on the calendar, I will send you a couple of documents to fill out in order to focus our work. Please return those to me at least 48 hours in advance of our session. When I receive those completed forms I can put you on the waitlist for any sessions that may become available earlier than your scheduled session.

SCHEDULING PROCESS

When you are ready to schedule I will send you a link to the calendar so you can choose your dates and times from my availability.

THE BARE ESSENTIALS

3 sessions, expires 5 months from the date of the initial consult: $725

This package includes two one hour follow up sessions after your initial consultation (see above).

This package is for families welcoming home an adolescent or adult dog. This is a great way to jumpstart your training journey and to help you learn how to support your furry friend as they adjust to their new environment. The sessions will cover core concepts and foundations of dog training like:

Dog body language

Bonding with your dog

One or two basic manners chosen to address your specific goals*

*Depending on your training goals and your dog’s needs more sessions may be needed.

I'm Ready to Start Training!

THE ESSENTIALS DEEP DIVE

5 sessions, expires 7 months from the date of the initial consult: $1050

This package includes five one hour follow up sessions after your initial consultation (see above).

This package includes all the skills from The Bare Essentials and more! It is ideal for families who have lived with their dog for some time and are ironing out some misunderstandings as well as for families welcoming a new dog and wanting more comprehensive support. We add up to 6 basic manners to your core concepts. There is time to level up complex skills like leash walking, stay, and recall.
